Another card from my January Monthly Card Class:
This one is CASE’d from Lisa Curcio, who has a printable tutorial for this card. I love the colours she used, and was drawn to 2 features on this project: using the small koi fish to stamp the Mango Melody layer before using the Seaside embossing folder on it, and using a sponge dauber to add Poppy Parade ink to the koi after they were inked in Mango Melody. Combined with the fine details on this Distinctive stamp set it creates very realistic images. I also like that it feels right for this period leading up to the Chinese New Year, which is being celebrated widely in the area where I live.
