I spent some time last weekend using up some of my retiring Designer Series Papers. I had a lot of scraps of the In Good Taste DSP…it’s a large pack that carried over for 2 annual catalogues, and is now on sale for half price!
On this card I used a number of wood grain scraps and adhered them to a Sahara Sand card base. It reminds me of my lovely, thick wood chopping board!
Then I cut the two layers of the “thanks” from the Amazing Thanks Dies out of two more wood grain patterns. The darker one I layered on our Foam Adhesive Sheets before cutting, and I used the Adhesive Sheets (flat) on the lighter one. This made adding both to my card super easy!
The embellishments are the new Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots, which will be available in the upcoming 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. They are similar to, but also different from, the Brushed Metallic Dots, which would also work well on this.
