When a new catalogue comes out it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of new products.  A year ago one of the hottest items in the  Occasions Catalogue was the Petal Palette bundle.  Happily, it carried  over to the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue! This weekend I decided to give it another visit.

I CASE’d the design from Lisa Walsh, but made a few changes.  I hadn’t really used the Chicken Wire Elements from the Holiday Catalogue,  but think a piece works well here. In addition  to embossing the Pool Party layer with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder, I applied Blackberry Bliss ink to the side with the raised design and laid a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock on it, applying pressure to transfer the ink.  That’s right, the embossing folder became a stamp!

I stamped the images from Petal Palette in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with Stampin’ Blendabilities.  The coordinating Petals and More Thinlits Dies made it easy to cut them out and pop them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The sentiment is from the same set.

Here are the products I used to make this card.  Click on any image below to go to my Online Store and order.
