Another of the cards we made in my January Monthly Medley class. Do you regret missing it? Don’t have more regret in February – sign up today for the next class on 19 February!
This card is based on one I received from Nyree Goss, who was inspired by Mary Ann Curtis. Each time we’ve changed it up slightly, and each of my participants put their own spin on it, too.

All of us started by swirling colours onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. In this case it was Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia and Bumblee inks we used with Blending Brushes. Then we placed our Brilliant Wings dies to strategically capture the colours we wanted and cut them out.
The branch we stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink is from the Etched In Nature set that was pre-released to demonstrators attending OnStage@Home last year, but withdrawn before going on sale to customers due to many believing that it didn’t stamp well. I think there is an issue with the centre of this image stamping as well as the rest, but it works well for this purpose. Once stamped, we used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to add texture.
Then it was just a matter of layering it all up, including this pretty sentiment from Special Moments, a FREE stamp set available with a minimum $180 purchase during Sale-A-Bration.
