Here's the other card I made when I had Pretty Peacock and Copper Foil on my craft desk:
The Copper Foil on this one is actually the remnant from cutting out the frame on yesterday's card! Just one benefit of using the dies. On this card I used Versamark ink and copper embossing powder in place of the Delicata Celestial Copper ink on yesterday's. I also changed up the sentiment to one from the Frosted Foliage stamp set and flipped the placement of elements.
Another example of why I don't make a hundred of one card design each year - there are way too many fun ideas to play with! Here's the supplies you need if you want to make cards like this one:

I had a bit of a play the other day with my Christmas Gleaming stamp set. Here's one of the cards I made:
I saw a similar card online, but that one had been made with the Hammered Metal Embossing 3D Folder that's part of the Brightly Gleaming suite. I have to admit, it's so similar in texture to the Mosaic 3D Folder that I didn't buy it, and used Mosaic on this card.
I'm still loving the Delicata metallic inks...soooo shimmery! I used them on both the ornaments (baubles) and holly. The holly is fussy-cut and coloured with Stampin' Blends. Check back tomorrow for another card, and in the meantime here's what you need to make this one: New Products in November!

As I make my Christmas cards I'm mindful of the other crafting supplies I've got...so I'm dedicating time to crafting with my stash. I found these cards made by my SU! demo friend from Tasmania, Kayla, and had to CASE them. I like the same basic layout repeated in different colour combos and using different sentiments. I have made so many cards using this Bird Ballad Suite...you can see them all by putting Bird Ballad into the search box on the sidebar of this blog. Such a great investment! You can get everything I used on these cards (except for inks, adhesives and Whisper White cardstock) with one item number: 152190. Click on the picture below to go straight to my online store. Today I'm sharing the cards I showed during my Facebook Live last Wednesday. You can see the video replay on Facebook or YouTube. A quick reminder that there will not be a Facebook Live this week as I'll be in Sydney. This week's projects feature the new Christmastime Is Here Suite, which will be available for customers to order on 1 November. Below is a picture of the stamp set and coordinating dies. On the video I show how I use my Stamparatus to precisely line up the different elements that form the complex image. I also talk about strategies to avoid getting too much ink on the photopolymer DistINKtive watercolour stamps. Interestingly, this is the first double-case set that features both photopolymer and red rubber stamps. I also showed a few other cards I've made with this suite: The top card's image is cut from a piece of the coordinating Designer Series Paper, which also fits the large image die. The bottom one is the other floral cluster on that paper, but since it doesn't have a coordinating die I used my e-cutter (Brother Scan N Cut) to do most of it and my paper snips to get what it didn't. I used the other dies in the set along with another piece of the DSP to make this 10.5 cm square card: I encourage you to splash out for this bundle when it's available on 1 November - the colours are wonderfully rich, and the images are great to work with. If you need some more inspiration check out my Pinterest Board for this suite. I'll be adding more pins so keep checking back! This is the final card we made in my October Monthly Card Class. It's CASE'd from a card I received from Ruth Sollberger, another Melbourne-area demonstrator who brought it for me on World Cardmaking Day. She told me she CASE'd it from Joyce Whitman. It's fun to see how the design has evolved.
My version stayed very close to Ruth's, except I didn't have the same sentiment so I used a different one.
I've got to say that I'm really loving the Seaside Spray colour in general, and the Metallic Ribbon in particular. This colour combo makes my heart sing, too. The flower centres have Clear Wink of Stella, and again it's a shame that the camera didn't capture how shimmery they are.
Last week on my Facebook Live video I CASE'd a Bird Ballad Pop Up card by Patty Bennett. For my class I CASE'd another of her cards.
Attendees got their choice of colours for card base, scalloped circle and strip of cardstock for stamping, for a mix-and-match crafting opportunity. The card front is cut slightly smaller than the back, and the scallop circle hangs over for a nice effect. Another simple, versatile card.

This card is CASE'd from another I received through the Random Act of Kindness Facebook group. This group is open to anyone who makes cards, and you should feel free to click on the link and join us! It really is a lot of fun to both send and receive this way...all kinds of surprises turn up!
The card I received was made by Lisa Rethus who used Calypso Coral as the main colour, but I changed it up to suit what I had on hand, which is a lot of the Garden Lane DSP. We used the Medium Daisy Punch to make the flowers, and the sentiment is from the Daisy Lane stamp set. The flower centres are punched with the 1/2" Circle Punch and have Clear Wink of Stella added to give a great shimmer.
For some reason I really love this inside treatment, which is simply a singe Medium Daisy punched out of the Whisper White layer and glued on so that the Mint Macaron card base shows through, with another of the shimmery ½" circle centres.
Another great, versatile card layout, highly adaptable to what you have on hand! Here are links to the products I used...clicking on any of them will take you to my online store.
Coming November 1 - Christmastime Is Here Suite!
This Christmas suite of products just screams, "Christmas in Australia!" to me...it's roses, which are in season, and it's traditional, rich colours brightened with shimmery gold and crisp white. This captures the dual nature of this holiday to me, where it's summer and still we cling to some traditional Northern Hemisphere aesthetics. Click here if you'd like to see more details on this suite, and stay tuned to my blog as I show off projects that I make with it.

Here's another of my October Monthly Card Class projects. This one is CASE'd from a tutorial coop bundle I receive through Debbie Henderson.
I changed up the floral embellishment to use what I had on hand...and that included the Clear Epoxy Droplets that I coloured with the Flirty Flamingo Dark Stampin' Blend. The picture doesn't show it, but the white square and the flower are on Shimmery White cardstock, which adds a nice touch. I repeated the Crushed Curry layer on the inside of the card along with a Whisper White panel, and I think the final result is extra-classy.

This week I'll be showing you the projects we made in my October Monthly Class. I'll be honest here - I've CASE'd every one of the cards this month, with a few tweaks along the way.
This first card is inspired by one I received through the Random Act of Kindness Facebook group I'm in. The one I received uses Daffodil Delight for the accent colour, but I decided to give Rococo Rose some love instead.
We stamped the dandelion image and the sentiment (both from Dandelion Wishes) on the Whisper White panel in Memento Tuxedo Black. Using a sponge Dauber, we swirled Rococo Rose ink over the "blossoms" before running it through the Tufted 3D embossing folder. Then it was simply layered on a piece of Rococo Rose cardstock and a Whisper White Thick base before adding a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels. We also stamped and sponged the inside of the card.
One of the nice things about this design is that you can adapt it to any colour you have in your collection of supplies. They are also easy to replicate and make multiples, great for gifting or adding to your card stash. They are also versatile for many occasions. Win, win, win!

Saturday, 2 November 1:00 - 5:00 PM or by request RSVP deadline Tuesday, 29 October Make 25 Christmas cards in 1 afternoon and have a great start on the season! Participants will make 5 each of these 5 card designs. All supplies and afternoon tea included. $50. Note: this session may run long (or short) depending on how quickly each individual completes her cards.
Here's a simple Christmas card I made this week:
I used one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut a panel of Wrapped in Plaid DSP and a corresponding hole in a layer of Whisper White cardstock. The sentiment (retired) is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink, as are the 3 evergreen trees on Shaded Spruce cardstock. I used the outline die from In The Woods to cut one tree, and the more intricate die to cut the other two, which result in pop-out branches. It's all glued to a Cherry Cobbler card base. I think this would work well with several of the Wrapped in Plaid patterns/colour combos, and other DSP as well.
Here are links to everything I used...clicking any one of them will take you to my online store. Want to make 25 Christmas Cards in 1 Afternoon?
