Here's another card from my Monthly Card Class. I wanted a birthday card that was suitable for just about anyone:
This one I CASE'd from Wendy Weixler, with a few very small changes. One was to use a sentiment from an old Paper Pumpkin kit, since I wanted it to be specifically for a birthday. The other was to simplify the twine with knots, mostly to be sure I had enough twine for everyone, LOL! I just had a good-sized length that I got as part of the leftover materials from OnStage Live, but I've now ordered a full spool, since I seem to be using it!
Lots of layers and textures, which is so fun. I'm still loving the cut-and-emboss features on some of the Smooth Sailing Dies, like the Crumb Cake rope that's on the Soft Suede Pinewood Planks-embossed piece. And of course that anchor trinket!
If you'd like the measurements for this card in metric please drop me a line and I'll send them to you.
Here's what we used to make this card:
I've been paper-crafting since 2006, and an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since 2010. I love sharing my craft with others, either through classes or by creating special cards and gifts that meet their needs. Join me in creating fun!
