Here's one of the cards we made in my Monthly Card Class this month. In honour of Father's Day on 1 September we made a series of "masculine" cards (though as I've said before, I believe there are plenty of men who like flowers, and plenty of women who like cars/tools/nature).
This card is a CASE (Copy And Slightly Edit or Copy and Share Everything) of one by Brian King, a fantastic U.S. Demonstrator who I've met a few times at SU! events. I changed up his colour scheme for my own amusement.
While it does come across as more "masculine" than the card I made with this set in this post, I really feel this is a card that would be appropriate for any one who likes bright colours.
The large sentiment is stamped with Whisper White Craft ink and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss powder. Cardstock-saving tip - we cut the black Stitched Nested Label Die piece from the centre of the Basic Black layer piece! The Pineapple Punch layer is stamped all over with the balloon stamp in the same colour ink...great subtle texture. All the other elements are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and fussy-cut. Here's what was used...click on a picture to go straight to my online store to order. Final 2 Weeks of Extra! Extra! BonusWhy do I think every stamper should join?
