Here's the card I made on my Facebook Live yesterday. You can catch the replay on YouTube or Facebook. Remember, you can get notifications of when I go Live on Facebook, or when I post another video on YouTube!
The items in this Forever Greenery Suite are so fun to play with. There are so many permutations and combinations to try out, one will never run out of ideas!
The stamps in Forever Fern are DistInkTive stamps, which means they have a lot of deep etching that gives them an almost photo-realistic, more 3-D effect. They do well with a drier ink pad, so be sure to use a spoon, butter knife or bone folder to push excess ink to one end of your pad if you find the etching is getting clogged up. 2 of the leaf sprigs I stamped in Soft Sea Foam, and 2 I inked in Soft Sea Foam and then pounced with a sponge dauber in Pretty Peacock. Since I wanted the blue to be very soft I just used residual ink on the dauber. Remember to clean your stamp each time you do this so you don't introduce the Pretty Peacock onto your Soft Sea Foam pad! After I ended the video I added one of the sprigs to the inside of my card:
I thought I was going to add some of the fronds from the Forever Greenery Laser-cut Specialty Paper along with the edge piece I put on, but once I had the Gold Trim on it they seemed superfluous.
I've already got an idea for a different version of this...I'm off to make it! Limited Time Offer - 2020-22 In Color Club!
What's an In Color Club?
This is where you join in as part of a group of 5 customers to share In Color products one new colour at a time, for 5 continuous months, so you have the full colour collection by the end of the 5 months. Each month, you will receive the following products in ONE of the 5 In Colors (you get a different colour each month - the colour is chosen by me, but you end up with all 5 colours).
Option: Add on the Stampin' Blends Combo for $15.50/month.
Spaces Are Limited! Sign Up Deadline is 31 May!
