You may remember this card from this post in July...as promised then I pulled it out for my Fun Folds 2 class last week.
It's an accordion/concertina/fan-folded card mounted on a panel...thus it's name.
Most of the time when I see this style of card the ribbon wraps loosely around the back of the panel to tie in front. I devised a way of having the ribbon between the fan-folded part and the panel that keeps the ribbon from being loose across the back. If you want all my tips and tricks for making this card you can purchase a PDF tutorial for AUD$5.00 by clicking the button below (don't worry - PayPal will take care of currency conversion if needed).
Of course, you can change up the stamps, DSP and cardstock colours, use different or no embossing folders, etc. I'd love to see your version of this card, so be sure to send me pictures!
Here's what I used to make this card:
I've been paper-crafting since 2006, and an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since 2010. I love sharing my craft with others, either through classes or by creating special cards and gifts that meet their needs. Join me in creating fun!
