For the past 22 years Glenn has been sharing his birthday week with Father's Day...and it has always been the Summer Solstice. This year all of that has changed! In Australia Father's Day is celebrated in September, and, of course, here in the southern hemisphere June 21 is the Winter Solstice.
This is the first time I've inked up my copy of A Good Man stamp set. I've kept it all very simple, colouring it with Stampin' Blends and matting it on Seaside Spray before adhering to one of the small Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards (retired). Since I'm giving it to him with his gift in person I don't have to be concerned that this small size is too little to mail.
Inside I added a sentiment from an old Paper Pumpkin kit in Night of Navy ink. I do like being able to turn to them if I'm not finding what I want in my current products.
Off to figure out what to bake for his birthday treat - probably something that involves coconut!
