Hey, Chick Waterfall

How fun is this whimsical set???  I love this waterfall technique for cards that have multiple, related small images.

A gentle tug on the burlap ribbon at the bottom makes the panels cascade into view:

The background Crumb Cake panel is “stamped” with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I simply used my brayer to roll Basic Gray Archival ink on the embossing folder’s raised side, put the piece of Crumb Cake card stock inside, closed it up and pressed and rubbed it thoroughly to transfer the ink.  I think the results really resemble chicken wire!

The chicks were stamped in Archival Basic Black ink and colored with the Watercolor Pencils a Blender Pen.  It is fun to create all kinds of color combinations with them!
