Hoppy Birthday

Today I'm sharing one of the cards we made at my Monthly Card Class last week.  It was the first class I've held in my new craft room in Melbourne, and I think everyone had a good time.  I know I did, LOL!

This card features an image from the very fun So Hoppy Together set from this year's Sale-A-Bration offerings.  We coloured it with Stampin' Blends, and even put a bit of Wink of Stella on the insect wings.

The sentiment is a mash-up of two sets...the Hoppy comes with the frogs (and says "hoppy for you" in totality), but I wanted a birthday sentiment, so I pulled out "birthday" from the Well Said set in the Occasions catalogue.  By using the brush end of the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker we were able to just ink up the "hoppy" and line it up above the "birthday" before punching out the circle.

The card base is from last year's Sale-A-Bration and has a coordinating envelope.  I knew I'd kept them in my stash for a reason! Calypso Coral card stock is a good substitute.
