Here's another card we made in my July Monthly Card Class. I CASE'd it from Jessica Brigden, who used it as part of her presentation at April's OnStage Local in Atlantic City, NJ.
I changed it up slightly from Jess' design, using a Stitched Nested Labels die in place of the circle she used. I also felt the Scalloped Lace Trim from the Bird Ballad Suite was just too much lace-on-lace, and instead used a small bow made from the ¼" Copper Trim. I think this adds just a touch of sparkle and ties in well with the earthy tones used in the colouring of the bird.
We also covered the scalloped back flap of the Laser Cut Cards with some of the Bird Ballad DSP. It's an easy way to dress up the card presentation!
Quick tip: to adhere a cardstock panel to the back of the laser cut card front put 3-5 little drops of Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the inner edge of the card panel. Work quickly so that the dots don't dry out...but use sparingly so it doesn't ooze everywhere. Less is more with this! Don't worry about the centre of the lace - the Dimensionals used to adhere the label on will hold everything together.
Here's what was used to make this card: Upcoming Classes
