Little Gifts Part 2: Gift Card and Treat Holder

Each December I like to have a collection of little gifts on hand.  They are perfect for service providers, host(ess) gifts, colleagues or stocking stuffers.  This week I’ll share the ones I’ve done this year, which I also offered in a class to my customers.
This is a fun treat box with an optional gift card holder.  I’ve CASE’d this one from Angelina Clark, who has a fabulous tutorial on her blog.  There is a lot of scoring, folding and cutting  involved, but once you’ve made one and wrapped the brain about how it works it’s pretty straightforward.
The Pretty Peacock box on the left doesn’t have the half-circle “finger hole” punched out from the top pocket, so you can easily choose not to put a gift card in that one.  The Cherry Cobbler box on the right does have it, and you can see my gift card peeking out a bit.
The box is perfectly sized to fit 3 Ferrero Rocher or Lindor Truffles (or a lip balm or a nail polish, or…).  There is also a white panel on the back on which to write a personal message.

Hope you’re having fun with your countdown to the holidays!
