This may be the best deal in the new Occasions catalog. This all-inclusive kit makes 20 cards, 4 each of 5 different sizes, and comes with its own stamp set, ink spot, 4 colored pencils, and an acrylic block.
I had a lot of fun coloring these flower images and layering them with the die-cut vellum leaves to make the cards. I used a couple of different techniques for coloring.
This one I used quickly and roughly put a dab of color from the colored pencils in each petal and leaf, and then used a Blender Pen to spread and blend the color.
This one I used the Blender Pen to pick up some color from the tip of the colored pencils and paint the color on. This turned out to be my favorite way to use the colored pencils.
These three I colored using the new Stampin' Blends. This was the fastest way to color, and still lots of fun.
You may have noticed that I used the birthday sentiment the most often on these cards. That's because I send out more birthday cards than anything else. The sentiments in the stamp set can be mixed-and-matched on most of the sentiment panels, which makes it very versatile. I would like to point out that the 2 small card designs are not able to be mailed, but you can hand-deliver them, include with a gift, or tuck them into a larger envelope to pop into the mail. Looking at the picture of my set hanging on my craft room door, can you spot the one I mounted on a Crumb Cake Note Card instead of the kit's small card base? Yet another way to make it mailable. One more bonus: If you love this kit and want to make more, Stampin' Up! has also included a refill option! Get all the consumable parts to make more cards with your stamps, pencils, block and ink spot for just $21.

I love all of these cards! I like how they look personalized because once the receiver sees this, he or she will immediately know that the sender had exerted so much effort to make these cards and gift tags. I always like to receive gifts that are personalized for me. It makes me feel special and I feel appreciated because I know the person exerted effort to impress me. It is the simplest things in life that I find most valuable.
