I've had fun playing with the Lots of Lavender Sale-A-Bration set. After stamping quite a few the "normal" way, I saw a card that someone posted with the bunches of lavender upside down, because it reminded her of how people would hang up bunches to dry. It reminded me of the trellises of wisteria I used to see when we lived in Virginia, so I made this:
The hummingbird is from You Move Me. I stamped the image in Lemon Lime Twist, then used a Blender Pen to add Old Olive to the tail, wings and beak. I also added Real Red to the throat. A quick swipe of my Clear Wink of Stella pen gave the wings and tail some glimmer. We've got at least 2 species of hummingbirds in our backyard every day. I hope this adds some warmth and sunshine to your day if you'er needing it!
I've been paper-crafting since 2006, and an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since 2010. I love sharing my craft with others, either through classes or by creating special cards and gifts that meet their needs. Join me in creating fun!
