The other day I showed you a hand-coloured card I made featuring the street scene from Mediterranean Moments. Today I'm back with a second card using the same scene. You might be wondering why I sometimes feature a series of cards using the same stamp set...simply because I have it out I do multiple projects with it! Sometime one attempt will spark an idea for another, or I think of a twist or tweak to what I'm doing. I like to show you them in a cluster so that you can see the versatility of our sets.
Like I said, same street scene, this time coloured with our Stampin' Blendabilities, a range of alcohol markers that make shading and blending so easy. I again mounted the image on an Old Olive mat, but this time paired it with a sentiment from Vertical Greetings on a Crumb Cake Note Card.
Sharp-eyed readers will note that on the previous card coloured with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen I stamped the image in StazOn Jet Black Ink. On this card, I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Do you know why? StazOn is a solvent-based ink, so it is colourfast when using a water-based colouring medium. Memento ink is water-based, and so it doesn't smudge when using alcohol ink markers. Opposites attract! Here are the products I used to make this card. Click on any image below to go to my Online Store and order. January Classes
