This is one of the cards we made in my January monthly class. It features several new products from the Occasions catalog…Party Wishes stamp set, Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and Party Pop-Up Thinlits Dies. The colors, Watermelon Wonder, Tip Top Taupe, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry come straight from the piece of Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper (DSP) Stack that is featured on the front.
I love the sentiment, “A party without a cake is just a meeting”! Once again, SU! has put a lot of thought into the design, ensuring that this saying will fit exactly on the cake image.
To get the Watermelon Wonder color behind the Happy Birthday Thinlit we taped a folded piece of 2015-2017 Envelope Paper behind the die cut. This thinner paper worked very well to bring in the color without adding even more bulk.
