OK - here we go! New year, new mini catalogue, new Sale-A-Bration! I was really strict with myself and didn't play with any of my preordered products until I was completely finished with my Christmas cards - made, written, stuffed with the annual family letter, addressed, sealed and stamped! Then came family time with a 2-day road trip and other holiday activities and sight-seeing. So here, finally, are my first cards with some January-June 2020 Mini Catalogue product!
These 2 cards are made from one 6" x 6" square of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (DSP). I received this square as part of the DSP sampler pack (along with a great paper mini paper cutter) that goes to new demonstrators who join during Sale-A-Bration*. This paper is so pretty it needs very little else to make a beautiful card.
I added a strip of Basic Black cardstock that I stamped with a sentiment from Perennial Birthday in Versamark and heat set with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.
This card was made with the strip that was left after cutting the card front above, mounted on Whisper White, Basic Black and Rich Razzleberry. The sentiment is from Special Celebrations.
The really nice thing about this approach to card making is that you can use what you have in your stash. Pull out some DSP and a few sentiments and whip up some cards today!
Here's what I used to make these cards: * SU!'s Most Awesome Offer of the Year!
