I took a break from playing with the Christmas Rose Suite to revisit my Christmas Gleaming stamp set for a few cards.
I saw the card made by Bonnie O'Neill and decided to CASE it. I made a few changes as I went...first, I used the Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder since I don't have the Hammered Metal one she used. I also chose to put it "wrong" side up. And, because it was sitting on top from being used with the Christmas Rose suite, I heat embossed the stamped strip with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder instead of Copper, so I had to use Gold Foil strips, too.
Since I had the Copper Foil strips cut, and I enjoyed this design so much I went ahead and made a second card:
Besides being sure to use the Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder this time, I changed out the embossing folder to Stylish Scrolls for a slightly different look.
