I made this card for my good friend and her dog, who is battling a second round of a medical condition that is affecting her esophagus. This means my friend has to hand-feed her in a special "high chair" and it's taking a lot of time and energy.
The card is CASE'd from Beth McCullough because as soon as I saw it I knew it was perfect to send as a pick-me-up. The paw print is made by punching 4 Small Oval Punch (retired) pieces and 1 Sweetheart Punch piece from a piece of Bohemian Designer Series Paper. I glued them onto an oval of Whisper White, and then mounted that on a larger oval of Island Indigo card stock. Finally, it was adhered to a base of Bermuda Bay, I also decided to use my Envelope Punch Board and some more of the DSP to make a matching envelope. My handwriting is so atrocious that I always print out my envelopes from my computer...recently I've been printing using the same template either onto printer paper or colored card stock and then cutting out the address and return address with framelits and adhering them to the envelope (purchased or hand made). It just adds another touch to the handmade presentation. Here's the pic my friend sent me today when they received the card:
