Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden On Stage At Home Card 1

This past weekend was Stampin’ Up!’s big convention. Usually we would gather in person, but since this is 2020 we went virtual.  Over 10,000 demonstrators all around the world participated!  

We had the opportunity to Stamp & Share together during this event, and here is one of the cards I made:

It features stamps, Designer Series Paper, and embellishments from the forthcoming Dandy Garden Suite.  I love how fun and fresh it feels!  I am not a fan of many insects, but dragonflies and ladybugs are 2 of my exceptions.

One of the things I noticed about the cards we made during this session was the move away from large layers of DSP to multiple small pieces…I’m liking this, too!

If one didn’t want to pre-purchase the bundle of products to make this exact card we were encouraged to use product from our own stash to make our own versions.  These are some examples they shared using other suites:

Written Tutorials are $15. Each tutorial includes step-by-step instructions, pictures, and measurements in both centimetres and inches.  Click on the pic or the link below to get all the details.  You’re welcome to join in the group assembly sessions, or to create on your own.  I’m always available to answer questions.

Monthly Card Class – Still time to order a Kit or the Tutorial!

Due to current Covid-19 conditions in Melbourne I can only offer this class as a kit/online version.

I will provide a kit and written instructions to make 5 cards. Participants will be able to add sentiments as desired with their own stamps and inks. Kits can be picked up from my residence in Melbourne using safe, social distancing protocols, or I can ship via tracked satchel. Come give this a try – perfect if you’ve always wanted to try my classes and can’t attend in person. 
​Card Kit:  includes all the pieces and printed directions needed to create 5 cards. You will need to supply your own stamps and ink for sentiments, as well as having a basic tool & supply kit for assembly. 
​Cost: $30 + $8.95 optional shipping. Australian crafters only, sorry.
Written Tutorial: Purchase the instructions including measurements (in centimetres and inches) and create along with us using your own supplies. Having a basic tool & supply kit is presumed. You can substitute papers and colours based on what you have.  International customers welcome!
