Team Meeting Projects part 3

11/2/2016

Here are the last two projects from my team meeting the other week.

This one was brought by Ellen, using a design inspired by Michelle Zindorf.  She used the In The Meadow set (OC p. 29) and created masks with the mountain image, as well as a circle punch to mask the sun.  We stamped the mountains on Whisper White, then covered them with the masks, tucking the sun mask behind.  We used the brayer to add Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral inks above the mountains.  Then we sponged Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive inks below the mountains.  Then we removed the sun mask and sponged Daffodil Delight.  Once the mountain masks were taken off we used a variety of brown markers to shade them in.  The plants were stamped across the bottom in Mossy Meadow, and then the flowers were colored with a Uni-Ball Signo White Gel Pen (AC p. 163).

The above card was my version...with this technique there it is easy to get a wide variety of results.  Below is a snapshot of everyone's card, which I think is super-fun!

Finally, my card was CASE'd from Diana Gibbs.  While the layout is very simple, there are a lot of layers and dimension that add a lot of interest, not to mention the cute bear!

The DSP is from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack, and it's mounted on a piece of Crumb Cake that's popped up on a Crumb Cake base.  The smaller piece of Crumb Cake is also popped up, and the white is actually our Shimmery White Cardstock (AC p. 149), which has the most beautiful, subtle, glittery sheen to it.

The larger bear from Bear Hugs (OC p. 40) was stamped in Archival Basic Black on Crumb Cake, then cut out with the coordinating Framelit.  Then I flipped it upside down and used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (AC p. 176) to precisely stamp the image again on the back.  I used my Bone Folder (AC p. 164) to gently curl the arms.  The heart was stamped in Archival Basic Black on Blushing Bride cardstock and cut out with the coordinating Framelit and popped up with a Dimensional.  I rolled up 2 glue dots and placed one on each paw's under side and pressed them to the heart.  The bear is attached with Dimensionals.
