Inspired by Michele McGill, here's another card I just had to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) for my February class.
This card features products from the Nature's Poem Suite (Annual Catalogue pp. 142-144). We stamped the tree in Tranquil Tide and cut it out with a Stitched Shapes die. Then we lightly sponged on Tranquil Tide and Crumb Cake inks using Sponge Daubers. The leaves are inked in Crumb Cake, and before stamping we ran the brush end of the Tranquil Tide marker around the edge. It's a quick-and-easy way to add two colours to the image.
A layer of Tranquil Tide card stock was run through the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Subtle it is, but adds so much dimension! A piece of Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper and Burlap Ribbon complete the card. Michele's card had a sentiment on the front, but I decided to leave it off. I think it works well for any number of occasions. Scroll down and reserve your place in my March Class so you can make great cards like this, too! Here are the products I used to make this card.
