I pulled out my new Dear Doily Bundle of stamps and Thinlits the other day to give them a play.
Instead of simply cutting out the largest doily Thinlit, I decided to use the Big Shot Embossing Mats, which allow one to use any thin die to emboss. Once I had embossed a piece of Powder Pink with the intricate die I used the outline die to cut it out.
The card base is a standard sheet of A4 cut in half lengthwise (10.5 cm x 29.7 cm), and scored in half at 14.8 cm and then again at 7.4. Creasing in opposite directions on the score lines creates what is known as a Z-fold card.
I stamped the Whisper White layers with the Burlap background stamp, masking off part of the rear layer to keep it clear for the inside sentiment.
