World Cardmaking Day 2020

Each year, the first Saturday of October is designated World Cardmaking Day...and not just by Stampin' Up!  Paper crafting companies and publications all around the world participate.

I've always enjoyed hosting a group of crafters in my home, making cards that benefit paediatric hospitals in my community.  Just like everything else this year, I had to do something different thanks to the coronavirus.  

Instead, I hosted a Zoom crafting session, where I played with the Box of Sunshine Paper Pumpkin kit.  One of my attendees also had the kit to make, and others did their own projects.  Here's what I accomplished:

Yes, the kit was designed to make 8 cards.  There are so many extra pieces that it's easy to more than double that...I got 19 in total from the one kit (and yes, if you're counting along, one was already in an envelope ready to be mailed when I took this shot).

I CASE'd this from Anne Marie Hille, and liked it so much I had to make a few more.  I will definitely do a tutorial sheet on this fold soon.

Monthly Card Class - October RSVP by Thursday

Due to current Covid-19 conditions in Melbourne I can only offer this class as a kit/online version.
 
I will provide a kit and written instructions to make the 5 cards shown above.  Participants will be able to add sentiments as desired with their own stamps and inks.  Kits can be picked up from my residence in Melbourne using safe, social distancing protocols, or I can ship via tracked satchel.  Come give this a try - perfect if you've always wanted to try my classes and can't attend in person.

Card Kit:  includes all the pieces and printed directions needed to create 5 cards.  You will need to supply your own stamps and ink for sentiments, as well as having basic adhesive (like Multipurpose Liquid Glue) for assembly. 
​Cost: $30 + $8.95 optional shipping. Australian crafters only, sorry.

Written Tutorial: Purchase the instructions including measurements (in centimetres and inches) and create along with us using your own supplies. You can substitute papers and colours based on what you have.  International customers welcome!
