Box of Sunshine

I was so happy to be able to get the first Global Paper Pumpkin kit of 2020, the Box of Sunshine.  So needed all around the world right now, but it seems especially so here in Melbourne, where we’ve got a (hopefully only) a few more weeks of Stage 4 lockdown restrictions.

What’s Paper Pumpkin?  It’s an all-inclusive kit to make beautiful projects.  This one was designed to make 8 greeting cards, 2 each of 4 designs.  My friend, Mary Deatherage, has done a great job of laying out what’s included in the kit in this blog post.  I got too excited to play with mine to take the time to snap some pics…oops!  Here are the cards as envisioned by the Stampin’ Up! designers:

One of the things I love to do with Paper Pumpkin kits (which are a monthly subscription in the U.S. and most of Canada) is alternative projects.  With this kit and some online inspiration (hat tip in particular to Tristan Dawes) I was able to create 14 more cards, for a total of 18!

And, this kit’s box was designed to be used, too!  They included a sheet of stickers to decorate it to use as a gift box to Share Sunshine with someone.

A couple of notes: This kit is all-inclusive which means it has Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots for assembly, and an Ink Spot ink pad for stamping.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t include a clear block, but I’ve included the one that will fit all of the stamps along with all the extra supplies I used to make the alternative projects below.
