Branching Out With Traditional Santa’s List Card

It’s the 4th of the month and time for another blog hop! This month’s challenge theme is Crafty Comeback – OLD meets NEW Challenge and was set by ME!.

You know this has been my recurring theme for this year…delve into your stash and spice it up with some new product(s). For this challenge I dove DEEP – all the way back to 2013 and the Santa’s List stamp set.

I think this Santa image is so Norman Rockwell-esque (or Coca-Cola advertisement, LOL!)…it’s the “ideal” in my head. That’s probably why I’ve held on to it for so long.

I paired it with some brand-new items that just became available in the new Mini Catalogue, including the Branching Out Dies, Traditions Of Christmas Designer Series Paper, and the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper (there’s also some retired glimmer paper on there).

To make the die-cut for the inside I glued the off-cut of DSP to a piece of Basic White, then aligned the die to cut them together.

I hope you’ll hop around and see what everyone else has made!

Here’s the current products I used for this card…you can purchase any of them and see all the exciting new products in my Online Store.

  1. Love your card Nancy, and the die cut insert with the strip of DSP. I don’t think to use a die cut panel on the inside but this looks great.
