I’ve be preparing to attend the annual Stampin’ Up! convention for demonstrators, OnStage Live, which is taking place in Melbourne (also in Houston, Texas, USA, and Rotterdam, The Netherlands) later this week. One of the fun things that happens during it is swaps! I’ve been making enough to swap with the members of Kylie’s The Crazy Crafters team, plus some more.
Over the next several posts I’ll be sharing some of my swap cards. I’ve decided to use this as an opportunity to showcase some of my current Designer Series Papers (DSP) which will be retiring at the end of April.
This card design was inspired by a similar one by Ruth Sollberger.
I decided to change it a bit by using a panel of the 2023-2025 In Color Luster Specialty Paper in Moody Mauve.
I enjoyed sitting and fussy-cutting a bunch of the flowers from a sheet of the Fresh As A Daisy DSP while participating in an online meeting. Flowers that are cut off at the edge are perfect to layer underneath entire flowers or to use at the edge of the card.
Bulk producing cards like this is actually pretty quick and easy.
