Celebrate!

Aren’t we supposed to try to celebrate something every day?  Here’s a card that works for that!

This card is pretty quick and easy to make…I sponged a rainbow of colors on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock with a piece of Adhesive Sheet on the back (one could also do a nice ombré of colors for this as well).  Then I laid my thinlit from the Celebrate You Sale-A-Bration set over the sponging where I wanted it and ran it through my Big Shot. 

I laid down a strip of Pick-A-Pattern Washi Tape on a 5 ¼” x 4″ panel of Whisper White cardstock, then laid the cutout word on top of it. The Adhesive Sheet makes it so easy to just peel and place!  I put some more of it on the back of a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper and used the  ½” Circle, and ¼” (retired but available at any office or craft store) & ⅛” Handheld Punches to create the sparkly dots.  The entire panel is mounted flat on a Thick Whisper White cardstock base.

This kind of easy-to-mail card is great for sending birthday greetings to friends and family, and is especially nice because they work well for the males in our lives.  I like to sit and whip some up to have in my stash when I’m not feeling super-fancy.
