This fun fold was taught to Kylie Bertucci’s Crazy Crafters team in an online session in early 2021. I used it in a Fun Folds class, and my notes show that it was originally from Sandra Hernandez.
The key to this design is to choose a patterned paper with complimentary designs on each side.
As I mention in the video, it’s important to pay attention to the orientation of the pattern (like on the card below), or choose patterns where it doesn’t matter (like on this card).
I’m giving you my instructions from 2021…they are only in centimetres, but I’m sure my North American friends can figure out how to measure and cut in metric or convert to imperial measurements. If you do this, you’ll want to remember to use imperial proportions, not just read off the ruler at the centimetre marks.
