Color & Contour Mystery Stamping May 23 Card

I resumed Mystery Stamping earlier this month after a long hiatus for Christmas, visiting family, surgery and life happenings.

What is Mystery Stamping? Participants download and prepare a list of supplies, then join in a Zoom session to follow the “clues” or instructions I give to make their cards. It’s always fun to see the different way people interpret the clues, and the supplies they choose to craft with. No 2 cards are ever the same!

Yesterday and today I am sharing the 2 cards I made as examples. If you’d like to get the measurements and clues to make this layout, it’s available in both Metric and Imperial here.

This design specifically asked for foil or other specialty paper to be embossed for the left panel.

I like how the new Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder shows up on the Shimmer Paper.

I’ve started stamping my line images in Smoky Slate or Gray Granite before colouring in with Stampin’ Blends quite often. It’s a softer look than Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I’m really liking it.

Join in the next Mystery Stamping session this Wednesday, 5 July at 7:00 pm Melbourne time. We’ll take just about an hour, and be making 2 different card designs.

Here’s what I used to make this card…clicking on the pics takes you to my Online Store for more details or to purchase.
