These are the cards I made during this week’s Facebook Live video. You can watch it on replay on YouTube and Facebook. I go live on my Nancy’s Nifty Notes Facebook Page every Wednesday at 10:00 AET…you can check to see what time that is where you are at this website.
All of these cards are made on 5″ x 7″ cardstock scored at 3 ½”, which is the size of our Notecards and Envelopes.
I used several patterns from Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper and cut them with the sunburst pattern die from the Patchwork Pieces Dies. This set doesn’t have a coordinating stamp set, so it’s very easy to overlook on p. 165 of the 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue.
Here’s the main thing I learned from working with these dies: lay out all of your panels to make sure you like the. mix of pieces before you start adhering them!
Another thing I learned is that it’s easier to adhere flush with the edge of piece of cardstock (starting at one corner) and trim off the opposite two edges, and then mat it evenly on a separate piece of cardstock.
I used several stamps from the Circle Sayings stamp set to decorate most of these cards, along with a variety of punches, many of which are sadly retired. Fingers crossed that Stampin’ Up! brings more of them back, as they have a few listed in the supply list below.
I also used the Happy Birthday from the Wanted To Say Dies.
