I have taken this lesson to heart as I craft here in Melbourne, and have made a big effort to use my supplies, especially my stash of Designer Series Paper (DSP). Making cards and sharing them “sparks joy” for me, so I consider that good.
If you love your DSP and are reluctant to use it, I encourage you to check out Kylie Bertucci’s Love It Chop It Workshop on Facebook. There she advocates for cutting up entire packs of DSP into a size to layer onto your card fronts as soon as you receive it. I’m not quite there, since sometimes I like to do other things with my DSP, but the concept of getting into it and USING it is great.
I’ll be showing you some ways I’ve used a bunch of DSP over the next few posts…today we’ll start with the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty DSP.
I still need to figure out projects with the long strips of lace, and how to cut/what I’m going to do with the 12×12 sheet of lace.
I’ll be back soon with more Crafting KonMari Style. In the meantime, don’t forget to sign up for my February class below!
Here are the products I used to make this card. Click on any image below to go to my Online Store and order.
