This is the card I sent to my mother for Mother’s Day. We also made a version of this in my April Fun Folds class.

There are a lot of pieces to cut, and quite a few that get scored, but there’s nothing particularly tricky about this card.

Once the belly band is slid off, the card opens from the centre and the panels fan out.

I like to place the belly band in front of the open card to display.

A little tip for when you’re attaching a die-cut image coloured with Stampin’ Blends that could be seen from the back: cut a second, blank die-cut and glue to the back to hide the marker bleed-through.

To see a few more examples of this style of card…be sure you’re a member of my Nancy’s Nifty Notemakers Facebook Group. I’ll be posting some pics there this week.
Here’s what I used to make this card. The DSP was only available during Sale-A-Bration. If it’s now a must-have and you’re in Australia let me know and I’ll see if I can track some down for you.
