Dainty Flowers and Basics 3D Embossing Folders Cards

These are the cards I made during this week’s Facebook Live video. You can watch it on replay on YouTube and Facebook. I go live on my Nancy’s Nifty Notes Facebook Page every Wednesday at 10:00 AET…you can check to see what time that is where you are at this website.
NOTE: I will not be going Live on 8 March – the next session is scheduled for 15 March.

I was inspired by a very similar card I saw made by Jill Lancett. I had three of these wreaths remaining in my pack of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper, so I put them all on my Brother Scan N Cut mat and had it cut them out. I’m pleased with the job it did, though they aren’t too difficult to do with Paper Snips.

Unlike Jill, I decided to emboss the Basic Black mat to add some texture. The new Basics 3D Embossing Folders are a set of 3, so I decided it was a sign I should use them. The first I call the “crosshatch” design.

This one is “polka dot,” and the bottom one is “starburst”.

I added bows made out of retired Bumblebee ¼” Gingham Ribbon, and added a few of the Adhesive Backed Milky Dots to each card.

You can see the new Basics 3D Embossing Folders and a bunch of new Online Exclusives products in my Online Store.
