Delightfully Eclectic 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder Card Redo

Yesterday I showed you this card as part of a set made with a 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder template.

I have to say, I was really unhappy with how it turned out…neither sentiment is spaced as I would want, they aren’t in a straight line despite my attempt to do so on camera, and the ink smudged on both. After looking at it while it was on my desk for much of the day, I decided to re-make it.

In the video I showed you how I used my T-square ruler to draw lines. This is another great way – use your paper trimmer and run the pencil down the cutting track.

I not only drew lines to stamp along but also marked the centre line so I could align the sentiments on that point, too. I also eliminated space between the words.

I was able to remove the original strip of DSP and Garden Green by sliding the spatula end of my Take Your Pick tool under it. It wouldn’t have been a big deal to cut another strip if it wound up torn or too mangled to work, but I find this often works.

I finished it off by adding some Baker’s Twine. I’m much happier with this version…what do you think?

Don’t forget to take advantage of the 15% off Designer Series Paper sale that ends tonight!
