Embossed Dots

Earlier this month I showed you my first card made with embossing paste. Today I’ll show you another way I used this fun stuff.

I used the dots of the Dots and Stripes Decorative Masks to create these large polka dots on a piece of Whisper White that was larger than my card front. Once they were dry I put the mask back on, and used a brayer to add Soft Sky and Daffodil Delight inks, starting on opposite corners. Where they met in the middle they blended to make green. I cut it down to 5.25″ x 4″ and added it to a Soft Sky card base.

I cut 2 of the middle sized Butterfly Framelits out of Pink Pirouette and White Vellum card stock. I adhered them together at the middle and added Soft Sky, Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi Candy Dots. Then I attached it to the card with Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from A Dozen Thoughts in Wild Wasabi on a flagged banner and popped it up too.

Last day for this week’s Weekly Deals…there’s three different punches and some great ribbon on sale!
