This is the start of a series of posts featuring cards I made for a “Chain Card Swap.” Tracy Held dreamed this up, where each participant started a chain, and each successive recipient made their own variation on it, until it finally looped back to the original artist. It’s actually much like the party game, “Telephone”! In this blog hop we’ll be exploring all the variations.
Please start with Annette’s post and then hop all around the chain and see if you can see any resemblance to Annette’s original card!
This is the card I made for Round 9. If you’re hopping in order (we’re hoping that the links in the carousel above have been put in order), you’ll notice that I chose to CASE the layout from Cheryl Hurst’s card.
I really like this layout, and will plan to use it with other DSP and stamp sets.
Once again, be sure to check out all the cards in this chain!
Here’s what I used to make this card…note that the Softly Stippled DSP was a Sale-A-Bration selection and is no longer available. Everything else can be purchased in my Online Store.
Gorgeous card – love how the teacup is so beautifully highlighted in this design. The colour you’ve chose make it all so sweeter.
Beautiful card Nancy. Love the way the layout evolved. You and Tracy are playing snap!
This is beautiful, Nancy.
How lovely that you’ve reverted to a paper from a card so many rounds ago you couldn’t have known.
I love how delicate this card looks.
This is gorgeous. I love the softness of this card with that teacup. Stunning.
