Now this is a “Wow!” card. Of course I had to include it in the January Fun Folds class.
This Pop-Up Block Card design was popularised by Lisa Curcio and her daughter, Gina Hawley. They work as a demonstrator team in the U.S., which I think is so fun! My kids like to make cards occasionally, but they’ve never wanted to be involved to that extent.
I chose to make it with the Fancy Flora Suite, which includes the Two-Tone Flora Bundle, the Something Fancy Bundle and the Fancy Flora 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
I’ll be honest – I find some of these papers to be a bit of a challenge to use, and I’m pretty chuffed at how this worked out.
