These are the cards I made during this week’s Facebook Live video. You can watch it on replay on YouTube and Facebook. I go live on my Nancy’s Nifty Notes Facebook Page every Wednesday at 10:00 AET. You can check to see what time that is where you are at this website.

I CASE’d this design concept from Sandy McCullough, though I changed up several elements. This is why my favourite version of what “CASE” stands for is “Copy And Selectively Edit!”

I chose to use the Simply Marbelous 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (FREE with a minimum $90 order through 16 March here in Australia!) to cut my tulip shapes from. I especially like that it uses the same colour tones on both sides of the paper, so that the bits that show through don’t clash (see Sandy’s video at the link above to see what I mean).
The sheet of paper I chose is Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo, with one side much lighter than the other. I paired this lighter side with Blushing Bride cardstock.

And the tulips made with the other side of the paper work well with Flirty Flamingo cardstock…though in truth they also work well with Blushing Bride.

During the video we chatted a bit about the white-on-white, and how elegant it looks.

What do you think? Do you have a favourite colour combo?
