The card is made with a base of Blushing Bride, over which I glued a same-sized panel cut with the Stitched Lace Die. It is very intricate, and takes a bit of time to clear out with Take Your Pick tool, using both the Die Brush Tip and the paper piercer end (a.k.a. the “pokey tool”). But I think the results are well worth it! I used the Liquid Multipurpose Glue, putting tiny dots all over the back of the lace piece to adhere.
The sentiment, which is from So Sentimental, was cut out with the largest of the Stitched So Sweetly shaped label dies, and then I cut another one out of Blushing Bride. I cut the Blushing Bride tag in half lengthwise and adhered the Whisper White layer to both pieces. The eye and brain work very well filling in the missing bit at the end, so you have to really look for it.
The flower is one from the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper…there are only 2 days left to get this paper for FREE with a qualifying purchase! I used Sponge Daubers to swirl Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz ink on it before cutting it out with Paper Snips. The final touch is a bow made from Petal Pink ¼” Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
