The Flowering Zinnias DSP is an Online Exclusive that is listed as Last Chance and is being offered at a good discount (at least here in Australia). I decided to use my remaining “slice-and-dice” sheet to make a small stack of cards.
I call this style of DSP pattern, “slice-and-dice,” because that’s all one really needs to do to make a great card front. Of course, any sheet of DSP can be cut easily into 6 card fronts, this style is just perfect.
It turned out that I had one remaining card front layer in my stash from the first of these sheets, so I made 7 cards total.
I kept the basic layout very simple, layering the DSP on Lemon Lime Twist, then on a Melon Mambo card base.
Then I added a sentiment with or without other layers.
Some have fussy-cut flowers from other sheets of DSP.
And all have coordinating sequin bling!
Here’s the list of what I used to make these cards…note, the Sweetly Scripted stamp set is now retired and unavailable in Australia.
