Forever Fern Wreath

While waiting for my big box of new products to arrive I pulled out the Forever Fern bundle and my Stamparatus™ and made this wreath card:

This was super-fun to make.  I particularly like the star/flower figure the leaves make right in the centre.  The results you get are based on where you place the stamp, so if you’re not happy with what you get, try moving the stamps around a bit.

The colours I used were Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow and Rococo Rose, along with a bit of Gold Foil. The Mossy Meadow layer was embossed with the Old World Paper Embossing Folder. The gold leaves were cut with the Forever Flourishing Dies.  When I was done assembling the layers I thought it needed just a little something more, so I tied some of the gold twine from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo around the fold of the card, finishing it in a bow.  I haven’t done this in a long time and I am really pleased with the effect here.

To make the wreath I used some templates I purchased from a demonstrator in the U.S.  The ones I have are 5, 6, 7, and 8 sided, as well as one that makes ovals.  If you’re interested in the ones I have they can be purchased here.  I believe she will ship these to Australia.  If you Google “Stamparatus Wreath Template” you’ll find a lot of simple ones that you can make yourself, usually 4-sided ones of various sizes. I know I’ve used this one before.
