A gatefold card is one of the simplest fun fold (or fancy fold) cards one can make. This version is offset, or has gates of different widths, just to be a bit different. I chose to score at 7 cm on the left, and 3.5 cm on the right.
The daisy petals are cut with 3 different dies and adhered together. The top layer of petals and the smallest centre were lightly inked in Bubble Bath with a Sponge Dauber.
With just a bit of care one can cut and adhere the leaves without losing the inner veins. One can also stack the solid and veined die cuts together.
The belly band is made by wrapping a strip of cardstock around the centre of the card, trimming to length and adhering together. The daisy hides the ends of the band.
