In January I decided to make a some cards to use up the remaining bit of Dinoroar Designer Series Paper in my stash.
The day after I completed them I saw this post on The Kindness Pandemic Facebook Group*:
Serendipity? Coincidence? I don’t know what to call it, but I knew what had to happen! I contacted Kristy-lee and got her son’s name and mailing address.
And was pleased to receive this reply:
This is my “why.” Whether I receive photo proof, or just take it on faith that people love to receive mail, I know that the cards I make and send are sharing love and kindness.
I think the rest of these dinosaur cards need to go to the Royal Children’s Hospital just up the road from me.
How are you sharing the love? Leave me a comment here or on the Nancy’s Nifty Notes Facebook Group.

*Soon after Lockdown 1.0 started almost a year ago, a Facebook Group called The Kindness Pandemic was formed. In the wake of toilet paper and food hoarding with its accompanying human nastiness that were getting lots of media attention, the founder wanted a place to highlight many of the good deeds that were also happening around Australia and the world. Like many, I’ve enjoyed reading these shout-outs to ordinary people doing both ordinary and extraordinary acts of kindness. You’re welcome to join me there and see how good humanity can be!
