A few weeks ago I showed you this card as an initial “failure.” I really didn’t like how the sentiment layer looked, betweem the too-small font and the very messy heat embossing, I wondered why I’d bothered to put it on the card.
So I let it sit on my craft desk while I pondered what to do to improve it, and this is what I came up with:
I was able to gently remove some of the Extraordinary Flora images and glue the new sentiment label on top of the old one.
I dug deep into my Paper Pumpkin stamp sets (Season Of Gratitude, October 2016) to find the sentiment. The card is still not my favourite, and I think this version with the additional layer looks better, but I would be willing to send this to someone. What do you think?
