Happy Birthday, Glenn!

Yesterday was Glenn’s 50th birthday.  He says it’s not a big deal, but he wasn’t very amused when I gave him the AARP membership card with his name on it that came in the mail a few weeks ago.

All four of us went out to a breakfast/brunch/coffee place in central Phoenix that I’d heard about months ago, and agreed it was quite good.  In the evening we had his requested birthday dessert, ice cream cake.  Instead of purchasing one, I assembled one following tips from The Pioneer Woman, and it came out great!  I didn’t add the candy she used in hers, but it didn’t need it at all.

This is the card I made for him, using elements from the May Paper Pumpkin kit, Many Manly Occasions (CASE’d from Julie Davison).
Next time I’ll show you some other ways I’ve used this great kit…and not all of them are “manly”!
