Today I decided to play along with CASE-ing Tuesday, which is a weekly Facebook Group that presents a sample from a current catalogue to use as inspiration. Here’s this week’s challenge photo:

I decided to feature the new 2022-2024 In Colors instead of the colour block Designer Series paper in the sample card…that’s the “Hello” part of my creation. Then, since I don’t have the Every Chapter stamp in the sample card, I used this sentiment from the retiring Happiest of Birthdays stamp set. That’s the “Goodbye” part.
My first card was as plain-and-simple as the sample.
But I’d also noticed that the sample’s DSP has some darker stripes of colour at the top of each colour band. I decided to re-create that effect with the beautiful Metallic Woven Ribbon in each In Color. The bow is in the card base colour, Starry Sky.
