While I was in hospital recovering from my recent surgery I spent a lot of time thinking about diving into this Hello, Irresistible suite that’s part of the new Online Exclusives offerings.
I love that it contains both Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock, returning colours that have been 2 of my all-time favourites! I’m having to be patient, however, since I can’t get the inks or cardstock in those colours just yet.
Instead I’m focusing on the colours I do have, and letting the returning ones be accents. With this Designer Series Paper you can see they’ve put the Soft Sea Foam with some of the blue tones, both with the pattern and just swirled together.
The plain one was perfect to stamp the flowers and leaves in VersaMark, heat emboss in White, and use the dies to cut them out. I snuck in a bit of Evening Evergreen for the sentiment…it works as a stand-in until I can get my new inks!
